Make your Google Business Profile your best salesperson

Answer questions right on your profile

Your profile has a Questions and Answers section, and most owners don't even know it's there. The problem: anyone can answer, including competitors and confused strangers. If you're not watching it, the wrong answer is out there representing your business.

Own the Q&A before someone else does

Google lets the public ask and answer questions on your listing. Left alone, you get wrong prices, outdated hours, or a rival quietly steering people away. Check it, and answer every real question yourself, clearly and quickly. Report and remove anything false.

Seed the questions you want asked

You're allowed to post your own questions and answer them, so do it. Cover what customers always ask before buying: do you offer emergency callouts, do you take card, do you serve my town, what's the guarantee. It's an FAQ that lives right where people decide, and the keywords in it help relevance too.

Use messaging if you'll actually reply

Turn on messaging only if you can respond fast, a slow reply is worse than none. When you can, it captures people who'd never phone and closes them on the spot.

The Q&A is a conversation about your business happening with or without you. Show up and run it.
Do this now
Check the Q&A on my profile for wrong or missing answers, and draft five questions and answers I should post myself covering what my customers ask before buying.
